Custom Voices is a community choir that is made up of ordinary people from the ages of 18+ who have come together because the one common thing that we share, is a passion for singing.

Whether you sing in the shower or in front of a mirror with a hairbrush (which most of us did… and probably still do!!) many of us have never had the confidence or the opportunity to release the passion we have for singing and that's basically what Custom Voices is all about.

All-comers welcome
You don't have to be a great singer or read or play music and there are no auditions, you can just turn up! Come and try it for yourselves and don't be frightened to speak to the choir members, I promise you, they will be a little biased, because after all, that's the reason they come back time after time.

Joining the choir can give you the opportunity to broaden your horizons and expand your abilities should you wish to do so. We have firm links with organisations like 20,000 Voices and The Sage, Gateshead; you can take it as far as you want to go.
